Plot Summary

Professor Roland Crump (Williams) takes Russian Professor Vooshka (Sommer) on an archeological expedition to find Roman remains on a caravan site. Site guests include butcher Fred and electrician Ernie (Davies and Douglas) who plan to misbehave on a holiday away from their wives, and suburban husband and wife Arthur and Linda (Bresslaw and Rowlands) with nagging mother-in-law Daphne (Sims). Butterworth is odd-job man Barnes, virtually a reprise of his role as Joshua Fiddler in Carry On Camping (1968). Carry On Camping is a 1969 Comedy film and the seventeenth ''Carry On'' film. Filming

It was filmed in and around Pinewood Studios in the winter of 1975. Pinewood Studios is a major British Film studio situated in Iver Heath, Buckinghamshire. The bare trees, muddy fields and icy breath are all quite visible, although the setting is a summer caravanning holiday.

The location of the Caravan Park was the same field used for the campsite in Carry On Camping. A filming location is a place where some or all of a Film or television series is produced in addition to or instead of using sets constructed on a studio Backlot
