Carolinian is an Austronesian language spoken in the Northern Mariana Islands, where it is an official language along with English and Chamorro. The Northern Mariana Islands, officially the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands (CNMI is a commonwealth in Political union with the United English is a West Germanic language originating in England and is the First language for most people in the United Kingdom, the United States Chamorro ( Chamoru) is the native language of the Chamorro or Chamoru of the Northern Mariana Islands and Guam. Carolinian is most closely related to Satawalese, Woleaian, and Puluwatese. Estimates place the number of speakers at about 3,000.
