In Physics, the principle of locality is that distant objects cannot have direct influence on one another an object is influenced directly only by its immediate surroundings Determinism is the philosophical Proposition that every event including human cognition and behaviour decision and action is causally determined Quantum mechanics is the study of mechanical systems whose dimensions are close to the Atomic scale such as Molecules Atoms Electrons
Ms. Thompson's work does not support quack or fringe attempts at unification. A theory of everything ( TOE) is a putative Theory of Theoretical physics that fully explains and links together all known physical phenomena She was vehemently against being associated with those who, in her opinion, were quack or fringe elements in physics. But, her theory does "open the door" to deterministic formulations which may provide more satisfying, intuitive, and elegant pictures of the atomic (and sub-atomic) world.
