Carol Moore (b. 1948) is an ethicist and systems theorist best known for her theories of secession and her analysis of Mahatma Gandhi's methods as an "intuitive systems theorist". She is considered a critic of the street violence tactics of some members of the anti-globalization movement. Separatism refers to the advocacy of a state of cultural ethnic tribal religious racial or gender separation from the larger group often with demands for greater political autonomy Secession (derived from the Latin term secessio is the act of withdrawing from an organization union or especially a political entity Her writings focus on governance in smaller political units. [3] Moore also argues that "there is a link between sunspot activity and human tendencies to mass action and social and political change". Moore is considered a feminist and a libertarian. Feminism is a discourse that involves various movements theories, and Philosophies which are concerned with the issue of Gender difference, advocate Libertarianism is a term used by a broad spectrum of political philosophies which prioritize individual Liberty and seek to minimize or even abolish the [5]
She has been active in anti-war and war tax resistance movements since the late-1970s, most recently with the DC Anti-War Network. The term anti-war usually refers to the opposition to a particular nation's decision to start or carry on an armed conflict unconditional of a maybe-existing just cause. A tax resister resists or refuses payment of a Tax because of opposition to the institution collecting the tax or to some of that institution’s policies The DC Anti-War Network (DAWN was a grassroots non-hierarchical anti-war organization formed after the September 11 2001 attacks which ceased meeting in the fall of 2007 [6]
She is author of a book on the Waco siege entitled The Davidian Massacre. The Waco Siege (also known as the Waco Massacre) took place on February 28 [7][8]
