Argenziano was born in Sharon, Pennsylvania, the son of Elizabeth Stella (née Falvo) and Joseph Guy Argenziano, who was a restaurateur. Sharon is a city in Mercer County, Pennsylvania, in the United States, 75 miles (121 km northwest of Pittsburgh. [2] One of his best known roles is as the recurring character Jacob Carter in the television series Stargate SG-1. He is also a lifetime member of the Actors Studio and was awarded the Los Angeles Drama Critics' Circle Award for his performance as Jack Delasante in Thomas Babe's A Prayer for my Daughter.
