Fictional character biography
Carl Mach is a mercenary who worked for a sinister corporation called the "Life Foundation". The Foundation was preparing for the M.A.D. fallout of the Cold War and sought to provide a comfortable life for their wealthy clients after the impending nuclear holocaust. Mutual assured destruction ( MAD; sometimes written as mutually assured destruction) is a Doctrine of military Strategy in which a full-scale Fallout is the residual radiation hazard from a Nuclear explosion, so named because it "falls out" of the atmosphere into which it is spread during the explosion Cold War is the state of conflict tension and competition that existed between the United States and the Soviet Union (USSR and their respective allies from the Nuclear holocaust refers to the possibility of nearly complete annhilation of human Civilization by Nuclear warfare. The Life Foundation was experimenting with the Venom symbiote in the hopes of developing superhuman peacekeepers to watch over their imagined fallout shelter utopia. Venom is a Fictional character, a symbiote life form in the Marvel Comics universe. Carl is one of three men who are chosen as hosts for Venom's forcibly-extracted spawn.
In the storyline Venom: Lethal Protector, Carl and his "siblings" are defeated by Venom and Spider-Man. Spider-Man is a Fictional character appearing in Comic books published by Marvel Comics. In issue 4, Scream kills Carl with a sonic knife, believing that the symbiotes and any who host them are evil. Carl's symbiote survives, and is imprisoned and experimented upon in The Vault along with its siblings (with the exception of Carnage and Scream). " The Vault " is the widely used Nickname of a defunct Prison facility for Superhuman criminals (predominantly Supervillains The symbiotes eventually merge together, and bond with a man known as Scott Washington to form Hybrid. Powers and abilities
Due to the symbiote, Carl possesses all the powers the original Venom has, including suit-generated webbing, shape-shifting, superstrength and the ability to be undetected by Spider-Man's "spider-sense". Spider-Man is a Fictional character appearing in Comic books published by Marvel Comics. His primary method of attack is forming his symbiotic suit into long serrated blades and slashing or stabbing his opponents.
