Caringbah can be accessed from The Kingsway, one of the suburb's main roads. The train line runs underneath the road. It is located in the main part of Caringbah's commercial district, and is a twenty minute walk from the suburb's light industrial area.

Like Miranda railway station, it has an island platform with trains running in both directions, one direction per side. Miranda is a CityRail railway station on the Cronulla branch line of Sydney's Illawara line.
