History

Originally founded in 1967, the team played as amateurs for many years. In the early 1980s, the team, named Yamaha at that time, were successful in several amateur championships. In 1984, the team was renamed as Caracas-Yamaha, and was introduced to the Venezuelan Professional Football League to participate in the Second Division Championship. The team obtained their ticket to the First Division after winning the Second Division Championship in their first season.

Caracas Fútbol Club has played their home matches at Cocodrilos Sports Park since the season 2006/2007. Cocodrilos Sports Park is a multi-use Stadium in Caracas, Venezuela. Cocodrilos Sports Park has a maximum capacity of 3,500 people, but it will be expanded to 6,000 people, and then to 15,000. The field is composed of artificial grass. Artificial turf, or synthetic turf, is a man-made surface manufactured from synthetic materials made to look like natural Grass.
