Bugs

The game was plagued by bugs from the start. Initially, the player could not save games. Eventually, a patch was released that fixed this and a few other bugs, but the game still wasn't entirely bug-free. One of the many bugs that was never addressed had to do with the "big customers". In the game, the player is able to put offers at various different businesses, that use cars, around the towns he or she is selling cars. The premise was, apparently, to give the player another way to sell his or her cars. Unfortunately, this never works. The offers are never accepted. Another highly annoying bug had to do with the manufacturing of the cars themselves. In certain game maps, were the player has bought multiple factories, new factories never started production. Also, the game's German heritage is very clearly pointed out by a bug that allows the player's secretary to occasionally speak German, regardless of the version of the game.
