Cape Meares is a small headland on the Pacific coast of northwest Oregon in the United States. Immediately north of the cape is the small town of Cape Meares, next to Cape Meares Lake. Cape Meares is a Census-designated place (CDP in Tillamook County, Oregon, United States. The oceanfront adjacent to these is known as Cape Meares Beach; the beach further north, along the Bayocean Peninsula, is Bayocean Beach, or just Bayocean. Immediately south of Cape Meares is Short Beach. Short Beach is a 1000-meter stretch of beach on the northern Oregon Coast in the United States.
