Cabouco is a parish in the district of Lagoa in the Azores. Lagoa ( pron lɐ'goɐ Portuguese for Lagoon) is a municipality on the southwest-central part of São Miguel Island in the Azores The Azores ( Açores ɐˈsoɾɨʃ or) is a Portuguese Archipelago in the Atlantic Ocean, about 1500 km (950  mi) from The population in 2001 is 1,736, its density is 337. Year 2001 ( MMI) was a Common year starting on Monday according to the Gregorian calendar. 1/km² and the area is 5. 15 km². It is one of the highest parishes in Lagoa.
