Byeon Hee-bong (sometimes written "Byun") (b. June 8 1942) is a South Korean actor and producer best known for his role in the smash hit The Host for which he won an award at the Asia-Pacific Film Festival and a Blue Dragon Award. The Host (괴물 Gwoemul - "Creature" is a 2006 South Korean Monster film, which also contains elements of comedy The Blue Dragon Film Awards is an annual South Korean film award ceremony created in 1963 by The Chosun Ilbo newspaper and discontinued in 1973
