Burdubo (Soomaali:Buurdhuubo) is a town in Gedo, Somalia. Gedo ( Geedo) is an administrative region ( gobolka) formerly part of the historic Upper Juba Region, Somalia. Somalia ( Soomaaliya; الصومال) officially the Somali Republic ( Jamhuuriyadda Soomaaliya, جمهورية الصومال) and formerly known Burdubo sits on the Juba River on the Juba Valley between the cities of Bardera and Lugh. The Juba Valley (Dooxada Jubba is a Valley in Northeast Africa. Bardera City ( Somali Baardheere) is an important agricultural and academic city in the Gedo region of Somalia. Lugh (ˈluː modern Irish Lú, earlier Lug) is an Irish Deity represented in mythological texts as a hero and High King of the distant Garbahaarreey, Gedo region's capital is just 60km away from Burdubo. Garbahaarey is the capital of Gedo, the second largest and sixth most populous region ( gobolka) of Somalia.

Burdubo is the 7th district of Gedo's seven districts. The town's inhabitants make their living in farms along the banks of the river and the rest tend to animals such as camel, cattle, goats and sheep. Camels are Even-toed ungulates within the Genus Camelus. The Dromedary, one-humped or Arabian camel has a single hump and the Cattle, colloquially referred to as cows, are domesticated Ungulates a member of the Subfamily Bovinae of the family The domestic goat ( Capra aegagrus hircus) is a subspecies of goat Domesticated from the Wild goat of Southwest Asia and Eastern Europe Since the early 1990s, Burdubo has seen new business activities and population growth as the case is in most Somali cities.

Burdubo residents started building public facilities such as schools and mosques. A school (from Greek σχολεῖον - scholeion) is an Institution designed to allow and encourage Students (or "pupils" A "mosque" in English refers to all types of buildings dedicated for Islamic worship although there is a distinction in Arabic between the smaller privately owned mosque and the larger
