Burg Giebichenstein is a castle in Halle (Saale) in Saxony-Anhalt. Halle is the largest city in the German State of Saxony-Anhalt. Saxony-Anhalt ( Sachsen-Anhalt) is one of the sixteen ''Bundesländer'' (federal states that make up the Federal Republic of Germany. It is part of the Straße der Romanik (Romanesque Street).
