Breukelen-Nijenrode is a former municipality in the Dutch province of Utrecht. The Netherlands ( Dutch:, ˈnedərlɑnt is the European part of the Kingdom of the Netherlands, which consists of the Netherlands the Netherlands Utrecht ( ˈyːtrɛxt is the smallest province of the Netherlands, and is located in the center of the country The municipality was formed in 1815, when the municipality of Breukelen was split into two parts. Breukelen is a municipality and town in the Netherlands, in the province of Utrecht. Breukelen-Nijenrode covered the western part of the former municipality, including the center of the village of Breukelen itself. It was named after the castle Nijenrode, south of the village.

In 1949, the municipalities of Breukelen-Nijenrode and Breukelen-Sint Pieters merged again, to form the present municipality of Breukelen. Breukelen-Sint Pieters is a former municipality in the Dutch province of Utrecht.
