Early career

Small started learning guitar at 13, and graduated from the Berklee College of Music in 1997. Berklee College of Music, founded in 1945 is an independent music College in Boston Massachusetts. Metalocalypse is an American Animated television series on Adult Swim created by Brendon Small and Tommy Blacha. The series focuses on a fictional death metal band named Dethklok, and each episode features a song "performed" by the band. Death metal is an extreme subgenre of heavy metal. Michael Joseph Keneally (born December 20 1961) is an American guitarist keyboardist vocalist and composer Bryan Beller is a Bass guitarist, much known for his work with guitarists Mike Keneally, Steve Vai, and Dweezil Zappa. The Adult Swim-sponsored "Dethtour" featured Dethklok supporting …And You Will Know Us by the Trail of Dead.
