Early life

Meyer was born in Minneapolis, Minnesota, the son of Dorothy Ann (née Vial), a travel agent and former microbiologist, and Christopher William Meyer, a management consultant. In 1990, Meyer acted in the made-for-television movie Camp Cucamonga. Camp Cucamonga (Alternate Titles How I Spent My Summer Lights Out is a made-for-television movie that aired on September 23, 1990 on Breckin Meyer and Alicia Silverstone attended the same high school in real life and starred in Clueless together.
