The Bosque River (pronounced BOSS-kee) is a 5-mile (8. 0 km) long river in Texas fed by four primary branches. The longest branch, the North Bosque, forms near Stephenville, flowing toward Waco through Hamilton, Texas and McLennan counties. The city of Waco has been involved in a protracted lawsuit with Erath County dairies since 2004.
