Bonnyville has large reserves of oil underfoot, and this, coupled with agricultural resources, many other industries, and a strategic location between the markets of St. An oil is a substance that is in a viscous Liquid state ( "oily") at ambient temperatures or slightly warmer and is Paul and Cold Lake, has blessed the town with one of the most vibrant and diverse economies in Alberta.
