Bolan Medical College was established to address an acute shortage of doctors in the Balochistan province of Pakistan. In some Educational systems undergraduate education is Post-secondary education up to the level of a Bachelor's degree. ( Urdu: کوئٹہ) ( Pashto: کوټه) also spelled Kwatah City is a variation of kwatkot a Pashto word meaning “fort Balochistan, or Baluchistan, Pashto, ( Balochi, Hazara, Brahui, Sindhi, Urdu: بلوچستان Pakistan () officially the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, is a country located in South Asia, Southwest Asia, Middle East and Balochistan, or Baluchistan, Pashto, ( Balochi, Hazara, Brahui, Sindhi, Urdu: بلوچستان Where Japan has 542 people per doctor, Balochistan has over 10,000 people per doctor. The college was established in 1972 and has graduated over 2,900 students (c. Year 1972 ( MCMLXXII) was a Leap year starting on Saturday (link will display full calendar of the Gregorian calendar. 2003). [3] It was the recipient of a Japan International Cooperation Agency grant of 488 million yen in 1995. [4]

It is accredited by the College of Physicians & Surgeons Pakistan to teach medicine, hematology, neurosurgery, obstetrics and gynecology, ophthalmology, otorhinolaryngology, pediatrics, psychiatry and surgery. College of Physicians & Surgeons Pakistan (CPSP is the only postgraduate training and examination body of Pakistan awarding degrees of FCPS, DCPS, MCPS [5]
