Patrick Stephen Houston (better known as Project Pat) is an American rapper originating from Memphis Tennessee. [2][3] Blak Jak continued to win fans after he released a mixtape with DJ Smallz, Roll da Dice, in the summer of 2006. A mixtape or mixed tape is a compilation of Songs recorded in a specific order traditionally onto a Compact audio cassette. DJ Smallz, is a Hip-hop DJ known for his Southern Smoke mixtapes as well as his weekly show on Sirius Satellite Radio and DISH Network Southern Smoke [2] On the strength of the single, Universal Records offered Blak Jak a record deal, and the independent album was re-released in October of 2006 under the title Place Your Bets. The single "Bobbin' My Head" scored radio airplay toward the end of 2006,[4] as did his collaboration with T-Pain, "Ball Out ($500)", in March of 2007.
