Black Roses is a 1988 horror film directed by John Fanso. The United States of America —commonly referred to as the Year 1988 ( MCMLXXXVIII) was a Leap year starting on Friday (link displays 1988 Gregorian calendar) Horror films are Movies that strive to elicit Fear, Horror and terror responses from viewers It has become an underground cult classic with Heavy metal fans for the great all star soundtrack which has become increasingly difficult to find. Plot
A cool rock-n-roll band plays at a sleepy town called Mile valley causing the town's kids to turn to Rockers. However, what the town doesn't know is that the band is turning the kids not only into rockers but into monsters as well. The soundtrack features many prominent bands at the time such as King Kobra, Tempest, Hallow's Eve, and a few others. King Kobra was a Glam metal group founded by drummer Carmine Appice after his tenure with Ozzy Osbourne in 1984 TEMPEST is a Codename referring to investigations and studies of compromising emanations (CE Most of the music for the band "Black Roses" was performed by the members of King Kobra, with Mark Free on vocals, and Carmine Appice on drums.
