Bettviller is a village and commune of the Moselle département, in northeastern France. The commune is the lowest level of administrative division in the French Republic. With its appendices, Guising and Hoelling, the village of Bettviller extends in the valley from Bickenalb.
It is mentioned for the first time in 1157, in the forms "Bedebur" and "Bedeviller" in 1496 (oratory). The current village would have been built in XVIe century.
