BTV is a local television station in Bergen, Norway. Television ( TV) is a widely used Telecommunication medium for sending ( Broadcasting) and receiving moving Images, either monochromatic is the second largest city in Norway. It is located on the south-western coast of Norway in the county of Hordaland in between a group of mountains known as De syv fjell It is owned by the largest local newspaper in Norway, Bergens Tidende. A newspaper is a written Publication containing News, information and Advertising, usually printed on low-cost paper called Newsprint. Bergens Tidende is Norway 's fourth largest newspaper and largest regional newspaper with a circulation of about 87000 copies (2002 numbers.

Programs

Apart from news, the station also shows popular programs like Bøljan and Valgbar. News is any new information or information on Current events which is presented by print, broadcast, Internet, or Word of mouth

The channel was launched as TVHordaland in 1996. Programs from TVNorge are broadcasted when BTV doesn't broadcast any programs. It has transmitters in Bergen and other locations in Hordaland county.

BTV is also transmitted by cable and RiksTV.
