Belgranodeutsch is a mixture of German and Spanish spoken in Buenos Aires, specifically in the neighborhood of Belgrano. The German language (de ''Deutsch'') is a West Germanic language and one of the world's major languages. Buenos Aires is the Capital and largest city of Argentina. It is geographically located on the southern shore of the Río de la Plata, on the southeastern Manuel José Joaquín del Corazón de Jesús Belgrano, usually referred to as Manuel Belgrano ( June 3, 1770 &ndash June 20, 1820

It was spoken by the German community living in both Belgrano "R" (residential) and Belgrano "C" (commercial). There were two main schools in the neighborhood, the Goethe Schule and the Pestalozzi Schule - around the Second World War there was a certain division of political and religious origin between the two schools.

Belgranodeutsch still survives today and can be compared to the "Spanglish" spoken in the USA. Spanglish espanglish, espaninglish, el Spanish broken, ingléspañol, ingleñol
