- Artacho Barangay Artacho was once a sitio of barangay Villanueva and it was named barangay Santa Monica. A sitio in the Philippines is a territorial enclave that forms part of a Barangay, the location of which may be distant from the center of the Barangay During that times, the land occupied by the barangay was disputed by the Gozon and the Companados who once have the power and the authority. Because of this dispute, the barangay folks especially the old folks seek help from Isabelo Artacho who was the governor of Pangasinan during that time. Governor Artacho disputed with Gozon and the Comapanados and Gov. Artacho won the disputes legally. Ask a favor he asked the folks that this place be named in his behalf. Year 1995, more families migrated in this place and so the old folks decided to appeal to the Municipal Council that this place be named Artacho by special election. The first barangay lieutenant was Mr. Jorge G. Abao Sr. His administration was the one who changed this barangay from Sta. Monica to Barangay Artacho.
- Baluyot The most prominent place of interest is barangay Baluyot located in the western part of the Municipality which was named in honor of Sotero Baluyot owner of a vast tract of land in this barangay. Baluyot has something to offer to its people;it boosts of a great extent of onion plantation which is a focal point of economic activities in this community. Hence, it is greatly known as Bautista's "spice field"
- Cabuaan Barangay Cabuaan derived its named from the word"Bua" which is Betelnut in English and this tree is very known in this barangay. It consist of two sitios namely Batac and Hacienda Puig. Batac was named after Batac, Ilocos Norte and Hacienda Puig was once a hacienda own by a rich Spaniard named Puig, that is why the barangay was known as the "melting pot of Bautista" because the people living in this place came from different places and speak different kinds of dialects. History Batac is one of the oldest towns in Ilocos Norte It was founded by the conqiustador Juan de Salcedo
- Cacandongan Barangay Cacandongan got its name from the earliest settlers of this barangay who were known to be migrants from Candon, Ilocos Sur. Candon City is a 5th class city in the province of Ilocos Sur, Philippines. This former sitio of Nandacan was situated near the Agno River and because of its location, the barangay feared to disappear if erosion of the Agno River bank will not be prevented. - Diaz Barangay Diaz was one of the sitios of barangay Nandacan, it only became separate barangay by virtue of a barrio charter which is the Republic Act 2370. Its name was derived from the name of a former Municipal Councilor of the town, named Don Alejandro Diaz Jr. , who came to Bautista all the way from San Mateo, Rizal. Bautista is a 4th class municipality in the province of Pangasinan, Philippines. Barangay Diaz is composed of several sitios namely: Capaoay, Diaz Subdivision, Namualan Norte, Cuarenta, Songyot and Diaz Proper. Most of the residents are Pangasinenses because most of the people came from San Jacinto, Pangasinan. Pangasinan is one of the provinces of the Republic of the Philippines. They migrated to the place for a greener pasture. This barangay is mainly an agricultural barangay where most of the people are engaged in farming.
- Nandacan The word "Nandacan" originated from an Iloko term "Nabtacan" which means "it erupted" for old folks claimed that there was a pregnant carabao aborted in the plcae and from then on people called the place Nabtacan. However, in the course of the event the named was changed into Nandacan. Before Nandacan was divided into two namely Nandacan Sur and Nandacan Norte, it has six sitios that included Ketegan, Palisoc, Pogo, Cacandongan, Diaz and Vacante. These sitios eventually became separate barangays.
- Nibaliw Norte Along the river bank lies a barangay which is subdivided into two: Nibaliw Norte and Sur. This barangay derived its name form the word "Nibaliw" which means where the people crossed the Agno River in going to or coming from Bayambang by banca. Bayambang is a 1st class municipality in the province of Pangasinan, Philippines. Due to its growing population, Nibaliw is divided into two, each qualifying as an independent barangay.
- Nibaliw Sur Nibaliw got its name from the Pangasinan term"Nibaliw" meaning where the people crossed the Agno River in going to or coming from Bayambang by banca. Bayambang is a 1st class municipality in the province of Pangasinan, Philippines. Now, Nibaliw is divided into two. The southern part called Nibaliw Sur and Northern part as Nibaliw Norte. On November 15, 1968, the residents of Nibaliw Sur passed a petition converting the sitio into a barangay carrying its own name and said petition was approved by virtue of Provincial Board Resolution No. 32 as provided in Republic Act 3590 known as the Barrio Charter.
- Palisoc Barangay Palisoc was once a sitio of barangay Nandacan. It was created as barangay under the revised Barrio Charter ( Republic Act 3590) of the residents together with the council of Nandacan (mother barangay) and was approved in the year 1968. Thereafter, barangay Palisoc was named after the family name of particular person who owns most of the land wherein Barangay Palisoc exist.
- Poblacion East Barangay Poblacion East was formerly a part of the town proper of Bautista, it became only a barangay in 1966 by virtue of Republic Act No. Bautista is a 4th class municipality in the province of Pangasinan, Philippines. 2370 as amended by Republic Act 3590 otherwise known as Revised Barrio Charter. Well known and beloved leader Guillermo Te Sr. served this area as brgy. Captain for decades.
- Poblacion West Barangay Poblacion West was a former sitio of Poblacion, and was only created as barangay in 1974 under the Revised Barrio Charter and the former "sitio" known as Estacion was separated as barangay and now known as Poblacion West. A sitio in the Philippines is a territorial enclave that forms part of a Barangay, the location of which may be distant from the center of the Barangay The land area is enclosed by a railroad track from the north boundary of barangay Sinabaan. Poblacion West has its own glorious past, like the transcient center of command and it was in this place where the lyrics of the Philippine National Anthem were written, and it is known as the "Home of the Philippine National Anthem"
- Pogo Barangay Pogo was once a sitio of barangay Nandacan. Lupang Hinirang is the National anthem of the Philippines. Its music was composed in 1898 by Julian Felipe, with lyrics in Spanish It derived its name from a native bird widely known throughout the country as "POGO" or "Quail". Theses species of birds had benn found in the sitio in abundance so that the inhabitants of the area called their community "POGO". For this matter, although the barangay became an independent local government unit on November 9, 1968, the name of the barangay was never altered by the first leaders.
- Poponto At the tip of the town of Bautista bounded by the province of Tarlac is Barangay Poponto. Bautista is a 4th class municipality in the province of Pangasinan, Philippines. For the city see Tarlac City. For the river see Tarlac River. This barangay can be reached by any type of transportation through a provincial road from the town of Alcala and by a skate through Philippine National Railways alighting at the said barangay until year 2004 when the railway tracks was dismantled by the PNR authorities. - Primicias Primicias was formerly a sitio of barangay Villanueva with its original name of sitio Companiados. It was constituted as a separate barangay in 1963 and named after the former Senator Cipriano P. Primicias, Sr. as a co-owner of a vast track of land comprising the whole barangay. Education & Early Career He completed his elementary education with highest honors his high school courses with second-highest honors and passed the government first grade civil It is located east of the town proper of Bautista and it is accessible to any type of transportation through a provincial road from the town of Alcala, Pangasinan with an approximate distance of six kilometers and from Moncada, Tarlac with an approximate distance of nine kilometers. Alcala is a 4th class municipality in the province of Pangasinan, Philippines. Moncada is a 3rd class municipality in the province of Tarlac, Philippines.
- Ketegan Barangay Ketegan was originally a sitio of barangay Nandacan, just like the other sitios of Nandacan, barangay ketegan was also created under revised barrio charter (Republic Act 3590) and was approved in 1968. It derived its name from its location "Ketegan" which menas boundary, a boundary of Alcala, Pangasinan and Bautista
- Sinabaan Barangay Sinabaan was created under Republic Act 3590 through Provincial Resolution 423 dated September 29, 1968, The barangay was named by the old folks Sinabaan, which derived from the many bananas planted in the place. Alcala is a 4th class municipality in the province of Pangasinan, Philippines. Bautista is a 4th class municipality in the province of Pangasinan, Philippines. Barangay Sinabaan was originally a sitio of Nibaliw situated at the right side of the Philippine National Railway track going north.
- Vacante Barangay Vacante was formerly a sitio of Nandacan, it was also created under a Barrio Charter(Republic Act 3590. It is a community of simple people relying only on farming as the principal source of livelihood. The long, long dream of the residents of this barangay was the establishmenet of a school building and it was in the year 1994 when a two room school building was constructed, funded under the Countrywide Development Fund of Congressman Amadeo R. Perez
- Villanueva Barangay Villanueva was formerly called"Coloscaoayan" because it is surrounded by a creek which is abound with bamboo grooves. Because of its proper placements of streets and zoning system, the testimonies of old folks would tell that it was once a pueblo or a town.
