Baron Darling, of Langham in the County of Essex, is a title in the Peerage of the United Kingdom. The Peerage of the United Kingdom comprises most Peerages created in the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland after the Act of Union in 1801 when It was created in 1924 for Charles John Darling, a former Conservative Member of Parliament for Deptford and Judge of the High Court of Justice. The Conservative Party (officially the Conservative and Unionist Party) is a Political party in the United Kingdom. A Member of Parliament, or MP, is a representative elected by the voters to a Parliament. Deptford was a parliamentary constituency centred on the Deptford district of South London.
