The Bangladesh Krishak Sramik Awami League (Bengali: বাংলাদেশ কৃষক শ্রমিক আওয়ামী লীগ) was the political amalgmation of the Awami League with the Krishak Sramik Party that supported President Sheikh Mujibur Rahman in governing Bangladesh. The Bangladesh Awami League ( Bengali: বাংলাদেশ আওয়ামী লীগ also translated Bangladesh People's League) is the mainstream Sheikh Mujibur Rahman (শেখ মুজিবুর রহমান ''Shekh Mujibur Rôhman'' ( Bengali: বাংলাদেশ inc-Latn Bangladesh) officially It was established in June 1975 and other political parties were outlawed at the time. [1] The BAKSAL dissolved after Rahman's assassination on August 15, 1975, and the KSP and League became independent political parties. The party advocated state socialism. Socialism refers to a broad set of economic theories of social organization advocating state or collective ownership and administration of the Means of production and distribution
