The Australian International Film Festival, or AIFF, is a Melbourne festival that was launched in 2006. Melbourne ( is the second most populous city in Australia, with a Metropolitan area population of approximately 3 [1]
An earlier festival with this name was renamed to Canberra International Film Festival. The Canberra International Film Festival began in 1996 All the films shown have been Canberra premieres and many of them have also been Australian premieres
