Astrebla is a small genus of xerophytic grasses endemic to Australia. A xerophyte or xerophytic organism ( xero meaning dry phyte meaning plant is a Plant which is able to survive in an ecosystem with little available Endemism is the Ecological state of being unique to a place Endemic species are not naturally found elsewhere They are commonly known as Mitchell Grass.
