Name and history

Ash station opened in May 1855. In September 1858, it was re-named Ash and Aldershot station and shortly after, in June 1859, it was re-named Aldershot, Ash station. In July 1863, it was re-named Ash and Aldershot station. This name continued until November 1926, when it reverted to its original, and current, name, Ash station.

South West Trains operate services every 30 minutes Monday to Saturday, and every 60 minutes on Sundays between Ascot and Guildford via Aldershot.
