Arvada Teen Court

The Arvada Teen Court Program was created in the late 1990s. The program currently consists of 15-20 teens that serve as baillifs, defense attorneys, prosecuting attorneys, and/or jury members. The teens work together to help local youth who have been ticketed for offenses such as: Disorderly Conduct, Petty Theft, Assault, Harassment, Throwing Missiles, and Graffiti Prohibited. Some prominent Teen Court members are Cherica Staggal (Prosecuting Attorney), Jelena Subotic (Defense Attorney), and Amanda Wellons (Prosecuting Attorney).
