Krazy Klan / Native Funk (1995 - 2000)

James Lowery began his rap career in 1995, as part of the group Krazy Klan. He rapped under the name Jaymo while his partner Lavel rapped as Jayho. Krazy Klan became one of the largest suburb Detroit underground horrorcore groups, just under Insane Clown Posse, and House of Krazees. Insane Clown Posse is an American hip hop duo from Delray Detroit. The House of Krazees was a group of rappers from Detroit Michigan from 1993 to 1997 They released their first album, Frustrationz, on cassette tape only. After a three year break, they released their second and last album, developMENTAL, in 1999. DevelopMENTAL was the only album Krazy Klan released on CD. Shortly after the album's release, Krazy Klan broke up and went their separate ways.

In 2000, Lowery released a solo CD called Rain From The Sun under the alias Native Funk. Shortly after the album's release, he changed his name to Anybody Killa, the name which he has kept ever since. Not long after dropping his solo album, ABK became good friends with the newly-signed Psychopathic Records artist, Blaze Ya Dead Homie, and served as his hypeman at the 2000 Gathering of the Juggalos. Psychopathic Records (2001–2006)

In 2001, Lowery was finally signed to Psychopathic Records, and immediately started work on his first album, which was originally intended for 2002 release date. Psychopathic Records, also known as "The Hatchet" is an Independent record label based in Royal Oak, Michigan in the United States Before the release of Hatchet Warrior , ABK would appear on various tracks for other Psychopathic artists--most notably on the track Skanta Clawz from ICP's The Pendulum. Hatchet Warrior is the second studio album by Anybody Killa, and his first ever release under the Psychopathic Records label The Pendulum is a 12 issue miniseries of Comic books based upon the Dark Carnival universe, a mythology detailed in the music of the Insane Clown

When labelmates Dark Lotus lost a member in 2001, ABK was their first choice as a replacement. Dark Lotus is an American hip hop supergroup based in Detroit Michigan. He recorded verses on the re-issued version of Tales From The Lotus Pod in 2002. Tales from the Lotus Pod is the debut album of Dark Lotus. Released in 2001 the album featured the first and only appearance of former member Marz, who His vocals were dubbed over that of Marz, who had been kicked out of the group a year earlier. Although ABK's version went on to become the official version, the juggalo community is split between which version of the album is better due to his very noticeable lisping rapping style.

After a year's delay, ABK's first official album, Hatchet Warrior, was finally released in 2003. Hatchet Warrior is the second studio album by Anybody Killa, and his first ever release under the Psychopathic Records label He also took part on the "Executive (Posse Song)" by T-Rock off the album Defcon 1: Lyrical Warfare.

His follow-up LP, Dirty History, was released in 2004. Dirty History is the second album by the Anybody Killa released on Psychopathic Records. Not only was the album considered an improvement over Hatchet Warrior, but it is Anybody Killa's most successful album.

In 2004, Dark Lotus released a second album titled Black Rain. ABK was featured this time as a full-length member, and was featured prominently throughout the album. That same year, Lowery was asked to join another Psychopathic Records supergroup, the Psychopathic Rydas, in 2004. Psychopathic Rydas is an American hip hop supergroup based in Michigan. Under the alias "Sawed Off", he appeared on the album Check Yo Shit In Bitch.

In 2005, ABK released an EP named Road Fools with a DVD of tour footage and his own personal brand of comedy. Road Fools is an EP by Anybody Killa. Released in 2005 it was the rapper's last release on Psychopathic Records until Mudface in In this EP/video, he also exploits his "nub". Despite the bonus footage and extras, Road Fools was a disappointment to fans, who felt the album was overhyped and was nowhere near as good as his previous albums.

That same year, he joined Blaze Ya Dead Homie to form a supergroup called Drive By. Chris Rouleau, also known as Blaze Ya Dead Homie, is an American rapper from Romeo Michigan. The group released one album titled Pony Down. The group was short-lived, and broke up shortly after the album was released.

On February 3, 2006 it was announced that ABK had left Psychopathic Records due to contract issues.

Independent career (2006–2007)

Shortly after leaving the label, ABK set up his own website thehatchetwarrior.com, and re-released the Native Funk album Rain From The Sun. Rain from the Sun is the Debut album of James Lowery, at the time known as "Native Funk" The re-release (released on June 1st), included a second disc entitled the Rattlesnake EP with all new material including a new version of Guillotine called Guillotine Pt. Rain from the Sun is the Debut album of James Lowery, at the time known as "Native Funk" 2 featuring fellow rapper Strict.

Around this time, ABK also released a few so called diss tracks with fellow Psychopathic cast-off Esham, targeting the members of ICP and Psychopathic Records. Psychopathic Records, also known as "The Hatchet" is an Independent record label based in Royal Oak, Michigan in the United States While not expected gather little attention many debate that ABK's part in the tracks have no diss's in them.

In 2006, ABK started a group called the Detroit Warriors with fellow rappers Strict & Venomiz. Together, they released their first album, Strike 1 Mix.

Anybody Killa also finished working on a project he had started before he left called "ABK's Orange-Black CDs". Both the Orange EP and Black EP became available Oct. 1st, 2006. A Christmas-themed EP, titled Holiday Jingles, was released in December 2006.

In April 2007, Detroit Warriors released their second album, Strike 2 Mix. The second album featured Strict, Flagrant, AJAX, Krazy Klan, & a few other underground Detroit artists.

On October 1st, 2007, ABK released his second Orange-Black album, titled Devilish: Black Orange. The album was released on his website and contains eight new tracks.

Return to Psychopathic Records (2008-present)

Announced on Wednesday, March 18 2008, during the broadcast for Insane Clown Posse's Weekly Freekly Weekly show, Anybody Killa is signed back onto Psychopathic Records and the release of ABK's new album, Mudface is expected to be finished and released some time this year through Psychopathic Records/Native World Inc. Events 37 - The Roman Senate annuls Tiberius ' will and proclaims Caligula emperor
