Anwar Wagdi (Arabic: أنور وجدي‎) was an Egyptian actor, writer, director and producer (11 October 1904 - 14 May 1955)[1]. He played the leading roles in many Egyptian films in the 1940s and 50s, and was married to Leila Mourad and they were divorced before his death
