Anthony Charles Beilenson (born October 26, 1932) is a former Democratic Congressman from Southern California who served in the United States House of Representatives from 1977 to 1997. Beilenson was elected to the California State Assembly in 1963, serving until 1967, and was then a member of the California State Senate from 1967 to 1976. The California State Assembly is the Lower house of the California State Legislature. The California State Senate is the upper house of the California State Legislature. One of the accomplishments in the California State Legislature was the Beilenson Act, which requires public hearings whenever hospitals close or reduce services. A hospital is an institution for Health care providing treatment by specialised staff and equipment and often but not always providing for Beilenson then served ten terms in Congress, retiring in 1997.

Balboa Park was renamed to Anthony C. Lake Balboa is a district in the San Fernando Valley region of the City of Los Angeles California. Beilenson Park. It is located at 6300 Balboa Boulevard, Van Nuys, CA 91406.
