Anita Zucker is the current and first female Governor (or governess) of the Hudson's Bay Company--which was first incorporated in 1670--and also an owner of the ECHL's South Carolina Stingrays. The South Carolina Stingrays are an ECHL team based in the city of North Charleston South Carolina, a suburb of Charleston. She is also a committed philanthrophist.

She is the widow of Governor and CEO of HBC, Jerry Zucker, taking over following her husband's death. Jerry Zucker (1949 &ndash April 12, 2008) was an Israeli born American businessman and resident of Charleston South Carolina. She has 3 children: Jonathan Zucker, Andrea Muzin and Jeffrey Zucker. They live in Charleston, South Carolina.
