Magic
Alex's magical ability is centered around the magical elements. The Six Magical Elements are, in no particular order: Water, Fire, Earth, Lightning, Pearl, and Shadow. Alex starts off with just a single attack, the lightning beam, to get her going. Every lesser demon is aligned with a particular element, making them susceptible to the opposite element. As Alex slays demons of an element, she gains more power to cast spells of that element. Alex also has certain magical abilities that are not directly related to any magical element.
Water
- Wave - "Super Magical Water Wave" - First used in #271 - Sweeping her wand across a wide arc, Alex can send a giant wave of water.
Fire
- Beam - "Magical Fire or Whatever" - First used in #313 - This appears to be the fire equivalent of Alex's ubiquitous lightning beam. However, she is in such a hurry to cast an offensive spell that she doesn't bother saying what it is.
- Blast - "Power Magical Fire Blast" - First used in #122 - This is a targeted magic, in that it will immediately engulf whatever Alex is pointing her wand at in an explosion of fire.
- Wall - "Super Magical Fire Wall" - First used in #299 - A huge wall of fire shoots up from the ground to block enemies from touching Alex.
Earth
- Rock Shower - "Super Magical Rock Shower" - First used in #119 - Gained from her defeat of the rock monster in Vashi's fortress, Alex can send a shower of rocks the size of Buicks at her enemies.
Lightning
- Beam - "Super Magical Lightning Beam" - First used in #027 - Alex's very first magical attack. It fires a lightning bolt of moderate strength from her wand.
- Bomb - "Power Magical Lightning Bomb" - First used in #037 - When Riley's house is attacked, Riley made the mistake of saying, "There's too many!" With that, Alex charged up and unleashed this attack that vaporized all the attacking demons and took a sizeable chunk out of Riley's front yard.
Pearl
- Heal - "Magical Pearl Heal" - First used in #317 - This is Alex's first stab at pearl magic. Pearl magic is the equivalent of white magic. With this she can heal wounds. However, she isn't able to mend that tear in Kevin's jacket.
- Shield - "Magical Pearl Shield" - First used in #531 - This is just what it sounds like, a magical shield. Pretty much nothing can get through it.
Shadow
- Shadows - "Super Magical Shadows" - First used in #355 - Alex can use this magic to turn herself and any target invisible. She has apparently used it before, since she claims its good for shirking chores.
- Teleport - "Super Magical Teleport" - First used in #061 - Alex could not kill Vashi's teleporting, winged minions with her lightning beam, so she waited for them to crowd around and used her lightning bomb. Though this did not kill many, it killed enough to give her their ability to teleport. - "Power Magical Teleport" - First used in #390 - In switching the keywords "super" with "power", Alex cranks up the effect of her magic. Doing so, she is able to teleport not only herself, the girls, and Miya in one shot, but she is able to send them clear across Okashi city.
Super-Magic
Super-magic is where Alex uses multiple elements, combines them, and unleashes the result as a magical attack with devastating effects.
- Omega - "Omni-Magical Detonation Omega" - Using all six elements, Alex concentrates them all together, compressing them into a single attack strong enough to vaporize a space larger than a city block all around her.
Misc.
- Transform - "Super Magical Girl Transform" - This is how Alex goes "magical". She does not necessarily have to transform in order to use magic, but it does give her more power.
- Flight - With the angel wings on her costume, Alex is able to fly.
- Telepathy - Alex can be telepathically contacted by Miya. Unknowing of this ability, Alex thinks that her "head is ringing. "
- "Magicous Obfuscatious" - Actually, this isn't even one of Alex's spells. She's trying to see if she can also use the magic from Harry Potter. Harry Potter is a series of seven Fantasy novels written by British author J
