Beacon Fellowship is the first and only Fellowship within the United Kingdom whose scheme is geared toward supporting and encouraging an improved culture of Philanthropy He was elected Chair of the Fellowship by the other prize winners.

In 2006 he was and as of July 2006 is the chair of the British Edutrust foundation, the organisation planning to sponsor Rhodesway School
