Ami Lustig (Hebrew: עמי לוסטיג) is an Israeli elevator consultant and chairman of the Elevcon congress of the International Association of Elevator Engineers since 2000. He is a certified elevator inspector [1] and member of the Buildings Maintenance Committee of the Standards Institution of Israel and chairman of the Intelligent Building International Steering Committee (IB/IC).
Lustig is the author of a number of papers on various aspects of vertical transportation technologies, and the editor of several books. Mr. Lustig is a member of the Board of Executives (Steering Committee) of the IAEE.
