History
The town, formerly called Arles-les-Bains, was renamed Amélie-les-Bains after Queen Amelia wife of Louis Philippe. Geography
Amélie-les-Bains-Palalda is located at the junction of the Mondony with the Tech, 28f m. The Tech is a River in southern France, very close to the French- Spanish border S. S. W. of Perpignan by rail.
