Alfred George Knudson, Jr. M. D. , Ph. D. (born in Los Angeles, 1922) is a geneticist specialised in the genetics of cancer. D. from California Institute of Technology in 1956. He held a Guggenheim fellowship from 1953 to 1954. He has been affiliated with the Fox Chase Cancer Center in Philadelphia since 1976.
