Born on May 8, 1968, Alexander Fishbein is an International Grandmaster of chess. The title Grandmaster is awarded to extremely strong Chess masters by the world chess organization FIDE. Chess is a recreational and competitive Game played between two players. Fishbein learned chess from his father, Gregory, at the age of four. In 1985, he was the winner of the first Arnold Denker Tournament of High School Champions.
