Patmore founded Surreal Software, an independent Seattle video game development studio, in 1995 with Stuart Denman. Surreal Software is a Video game development studio in Seattle Washington, U A video game is a Game that involves interaction with a User interface to generate visual feedback on a video device. He worked as CEO/President of the studio until 2004, when the company was sold to publisher Midway Games. Midway Games ( (formerly Midway Manufacturing) is an American Video game publisher. [1][2]
Patmore been interviewed by a variety of publications, including The New York Times[3], on subjects ranging from Game Theory to the "Hollywood Model" of Outsourcing [4] and Women in Gaming. [5] He is now acting as Studio Head of Surreal Software, a wholly owned subsidiary of Midway.
