Akrites (Ακρίτες) is a municipality in the Kastoria Prefecture, Greece. Kastoria Prefecture (Νομός Καστοριάς is one of the fifty-one prefectures ( nomoi, singular: nomos) of Greece. Greece (Ελλάδα transliterated: Elláda, historically, Ellás,) officially the Hellenic Republic (Ελληνική Δημοκρατία Population 1,109 (2001). The seat of the municipality is in Dipotamia.
