Aird an Rùnair is the most westerly point of the island of North Uist in the Western Isles of Scotland. North Uist ( Scottish Gaelic: Uibhist a Tuath) is an island in the Outer Hebrides of Scotland. The Outer Hebrides, ( officially known for local government purposes by the Gaelic name Na h-Eileanan Siar) comprise an island Scotland ( Gaelic: Alba) is a Country in northwest Europethat occupies the northern third of the island of Great Britain. The headland is approximately 4km south-west of Balmartin. Headlands and bays are two related features of the coastal environment
