Early life

Sandler was born in Brooklyn, New York, the son of Judy, a nursery school teacher, and Stanley Sandler, an electrical engineer. Brooklyn (named after the Dutch town Breukelen) is one of the five boroughs of New York City. ^[2] He had a Jewish upbringing.
