Jason Lewis (born September 29, 1970 in Brooklyn, New York) better known by his stage name AMG, is a rapper from Cleveland, Ohio who later moved to Compton, California. David Martin Blake (born January 18, 1970 in Compton, California) better known by his Stage name DJ Quik, is a Rapper The Fixxers is a group formed in late 2006 by Quik and AMG. Their debut album The Midnite Life, features the single "Can U Werk Wit Dat They released a single through Interscope Records titled "Can U Werk Wit Dat". Interscope Records is an American Record label, owned by Universal Music Group, and operates as one third of UMG's Interscope-Geffen-A&M label ^[1] The album was to be called Midnight Life and was scheduled to release mid to late 2007. However, in December of 2007, a business partner involved in the project tried to illegally sell bootlegs of the album over the internet, causing it to leak out to the general public, therefore the project was scrapped. DJ Quik confirmed the reports in an interview and was disappointed because he thought it would be AMG's time to shine in the spotlight again. As of 2008, The Fixxers no longer exist and have moved on to other projects.
