ACCESS is the youth network of the Australian Institute of International Affairs, a non-government institution dealing with all aspects of Australia's foreign relations and international affairs. Established in 1924 and formed as a national body in 1933 the Australian Institute of International Affairs (AIIA endeavours to promote interest in and understanding of international affairs

Founded in 2005, ACCESS hosts forums for discussion in the tradition of the Council on Foreign Relations and Chatham House. The Council on Foreign Relations ( CFR) is an American Nonpartisan foreign policy membership organization founded in 1921 and based at 58 East 68th Street (at Chatham House, formally known as the Royal Institute of International Affairs, is a Non-profit, Non-governmental organization based in London

Currently, there are ACCESS branches in three Australian cities: Sydney, Melbourne and Canberra.
